Our studio is thrilled to share our involvement in creating the visualisations for the proposed Waterfront South Central project, one of the most exciting developments planned for Dublin’s docklands. Spearheaded by Johnny Ronan’s RGRE, this ambitious project seeks to redefine urban living and working in the capital by delivering a blend of residential, commercial, and community-focused spaces on a prime riverside site.
The development plan for Waterfront South Central features three striking residential towers, rising to eight, 12, and 25 storeys. The tallest building will include a public restaurant and viewing terrace at the top, offering spectacular vistas of Dublin Bay where the River Liffey meets the sea. Additionally, two office buildings will add over 373,000 square feet of prime commercial space, aligning seamlessly with the nearby Citi headquarters, also part of RGRE’s portfolio.
Our architectural visualisation team worked closely with the project’s architects, Henry J Lyons, to create detailed, high-quality renderings that bring this development to life. Using advanced 3D rendering techniques, we illustrated the intricate design elements, such as the modern façades that complement Citi’s neighbouring headquarters, as well as the interior and exterior features that highlight the project’s luxury and functionality.
The visuals we produced also showcased the incredible amenities planned for Waterfront South Central. These include 32,750 square feet of resident-focused spaces such as a cinema, concierge services, a lounge, co-working areas, meeting rooms, a gym, padel courts, and an outdoor pocket park. By incorporating these details into our renderings, we aimed to convey the high-end, community-centric vision that RGRE envisions for this transformative project.
Being part of a development of this scale and ambition highlights the importance of architectural visualisation in communicating bold ideas to stakeholders and the public. The Waterfront South Central project is a testament to Dublin’s evolving skyline, and our visuals played a role in capturing the grandeur and practicality of this mixed-use scheme.
If Waterfront South Central secures planning approval, it will join the ranks of RGRE’s other landmark projects, such as Spencer Dock and the Glass Bottle development, as a defining feature of Dublin’s urban regeneration.
